Getting There
To Billund Airport
By air
The easiest way to reach Billund is by flying directly to Billund Airport (BLL). The airport offers a wide range of international connections, as well as domestic flights from Copenhagen. The flight from Copenhagen to Billund takes approximately 50 minutes.
We recommend checking the latest flight schedules directly with your airline before booking.
By train and bus
Billund does not have a railway station. If you are travelling by train, the most convenient route is to Vejle Station (Vejle Trafikcenter), where you can continue to Billund Airport by bus.
From Vejle, both bus 43 and bus 143 serve Billund Airport. Bus 43 takes approximately 30 minutes and usually departs every 30 minutes during the day, while bus 143 takes around 45 minutes and typically runs once an hour. Both buses stop directly outside the airport terminal.
If you are travelling from Copenhagen, take a train from Copenhagen Central Station to Vejle Station. The fastest journey takes approximately two hours, after which you can continue to Billund Airport by bus.
As timetables may vary depending on the day and time of travel, we recommend planning your journey using Rejseplanen.dk.
To Scandic Copenhagen
By air
If arriving by air, fly to Copenhagen Airport (CPH). From the airport, take the train from Terminal 3 towards Copenhagen city centre and get off at Copenhagen Central Station / København H. The train ride to the city centre takes around 15 minutes, with frequent departures during the day.
From Copenhagen Central Station, Scandic Copenhagen is within walking distance. The hotel is also close to Vesterport Station, where trains and buses depart regularly throughout the day and night.
By train
If travelling to Copenhagen by train from other parts of Denmark, arrive at Copenhagen Central Station / København H. Scandic Copenhagen is located approx. 700 metres from the Central Station. You can also jump into a S-train and get off at Vesterport Station. Scandic is only a short walk from Vesterport.
Train and metro tickets for travel from Copenhagen Airport can be purchased at the DSB ticket office or ticket machines in Terminal 3. Please note that tickets must be purchased before boarding.

Raffles & Prizes
The raffle is one of the highlights of the PATA Worldwide Workshop and a great way to engage with participants.
Table Prizes
We encourage all exhibitors to host small competitions or prize draws at their own tables. Please note that:

All table prizes must be awarded before the main raffle begins.

Smaller prizes and giveaways are ideal for table competitions and help attract visitors to your stand.
Main Raffle
The main raffle takes place at the end of the workshop and features the event's larger prizes.

Exhibitors donating a prize are invited to present it on stage.

Winners are drawn from the collected business cards submitted at the registration desk.

To keep the raffle engaging and within a reasonable timeframe, only prizes above a minimum value will be included in the main raffle.

With your agreement, PATA may combine smaller prizes into a larger prize package.
If you would like to donate smaller items or giveaways, we recommend using them for a competition at your exhibition table.
